<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bone stretcher from hindering everyday life by enabling the projecting parts of bone-stretching threaded shafts to be bent and fixed so that the projecting parts are inconspicuous, and keeping the projecting parts out of contact with objects. SOLUTION: This bone stretcher includes a first plate 1 fixed to one bone piece 101, a second plate 2 fixed to the other bone piece 102, and a first threaded shaft 3a extending in threadable engagement with the second plate and having its end made to abut and engage the first plate 1. The first threaded shaft is rotated to widen the interval between the one bone piece 101 and the other bone piece 102. The bone stretcher further includes a third plate 4 fixed to certain of the bone pieces and a threaded shaft 3b extending in threadable engagement with the third plate 4. The first and second threaded shafts are connected between the second plate and the third plate by means of a flexible member 3c.</p> |
