<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device for an EPS, which can improve a response without imparting a sense of incompatibility to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A motor for the EPS is driven in a 2-phase modulation mode at a sudden steering (S108).
