<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of printing with invariably stable colors by reflecting calibration in copy printing. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system is comprised of: a transmitting/receiving means of transmitting and receiving information through bidirectional communication between an external device and a printer; a means of generating print data in the external device; a means of storing the generated print data in a secondary storage device; and a copy selecting means of selecting multiple-set printing by a user interface etc. The printer is provided with a means of analyzing the print data, a means of measuring density values of a plurality of density levels, a means of converting RGB data of the print data into YMCK data, a means of expanding intermediate data in a memory, and a means of printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
