Lost shuttering system for foundations incorporates water seals between shuttering sections

A lost shuttering system for pouring foundations incorporates L-shaped water seals to secure the joints between the modular shuttering sections. One flange of the water seals is positioned under the base plate and is fitted to the base plate foil. The other flange extends vertically up the outside of the shuttering joint to above the level of the base plate. The two flanges are linked by a beaded middle section to shape the edge of the base plate. The vertical flange also secures an outer sealing layer. The system includes sufficient overlaps to prevent ingress of ground water.
