<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a duplex controller composed of controllers for a standby system controller and an operation system controller by reducing a probability that the operation system controller becomes abnormal during an abnormality of the standby system controller. <P>SOLUTION: In a variable-voltage variable-frequency power unit 10 which has a power converter 12 that variably controls the speed of an induction motor 11 and a duplex controller which controls a voltage and a frequency outputted from the power converter and comprises an operation system controller 15A and a standby system controller 15B, and where the operation system controller 15A executes the control of the power converter 12 and the standby system controller 15B is on standby without executing the control, an abnormality detecting circuit 21 which detects the abnormality of the standby system controller during its standby based on an output signal outputted from the standby system controller 15B, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
