PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device having a convenient configuration for an internal combustion engine that can execute appropriately an automatic re-starting after automatic stopping of an engine while considering ON-OFF state of a manual clutch or a neutral-in gear state of a manual transmission.SOLUTION: An electronic control device 1 for an internal combustion engine in accordance with the preferred embodiment of this invention is operated in such a way that a control part 17f automatically re-starts an engine in the case that an automatic re-starting condition that an OFF state of the manual clutch judged by a clutch state judgment part 17a is transmitted again to OFF state after the OFF state at the automatic stop is transmitted to the ON state is satisfied after automatic stopping of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
