PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a transmission circuit of an underground radar device, and save power consumption thereof.SOLUTION: A chirp signal generation device is configured to, as a transmission signal to be transmitted from a transmitter, output a chirp signal after changing amplitude of a chirp signal whose frequency changes in proportion to a time with respect to the frequency, and by further changing a phase to a non-linear shape with respect to the frequency; and, as a reference signal for correlation processing in a receiver, output the chirp signal by changing the phase of the chirp signal whose frequency changes in proportion to the time to the non-linear shape with respect to the frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
