摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ballasted lamp which efficiently suppresses temperature rise of a light source and also suppresses degradation of an operation reliability of a lighting circuit, and degradation of its lifetime, while reduced in size. <P>SOLUTION: The self-ballasted lamp 1 is equipped with a metallic enclosure member 2, a point light source 11, a base 31, a translucent cover 18, a lighting circuit 21, and an insulating member 26. The enclosure member 2 has a peripheral part 3 exposed to the outside, a light source installation part 4 formed integrally with this peripheral part, and a recessed part 5 formed inside the peripheral part. The base 31 is arranged at the opening edge part 2a side of the recessed part 5. The point light source 11 is installed at the outer face 4c of the light source installation part 4 so as to thermally conduct to this installation part 4. The cover 18 is installed at the enclosure member 2 covering the point light source 11. The lighting circuit 21 is housed in the recessed part 5. The insulating member 26 is installed between the inner face of the recessed part 5 and the lighting circuit 21, and performs electric insulation and heat insulation to the enclosure member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
