PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device for improving a recording quality in a medium to be recorded, by stabilizing the position of a carriage.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a recording head for recording a medium to be recorded, by discharging a liquid thereto; a carriage equipped with the recording head and made movable along a first direction; a tube for feeding the liquid from a liquid storage part for storing the liquid, to the carriage, said tube having one end guided into the carriage and the other end extending in a first direction from the one end to the outside of the carriage, and turned back and extending in the opposite direction; and a tube guide part engaging with the tube for guiding the tube into the carriage. The restoring force to establish in the tube becomes the maximum in the first direction at a position apart in the opposite direction from the folding-back part, and reducing the more as it leaves in the opposite direction of said maximum position. The engaging position of the tube guide part with the tube is deviated from the position, at which the restoring force becomes the maximum in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
