PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure of an automobile capable of effectively suppressing the deformation of a floor panel due to a load inputted from a front wheel.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front part structure 10 of an automobile is equipped with: a floor panel 12 which has a horizontal surface portion 13 and an inclined surface portion 14; a side sill; a front side frame; and an auxiliary stiff member 70 which has a recessed portion 74 coupled to front ends of the front side frame and the side sill at both end portions, and respectively couples an upper edge of the recessed portion 74 to a front end 13a of the horizontal surface portion 13 and the inclined surface portion 14 to form a closed cross-section structure portion 17 (a torque box) with the floor panel 12. The vehicle front part structure 10 is provided with a plate member 60 which is laid between a front surface wall 71 of the auxiliary stiff member 70 and the front end 13a of the horizontal surface portion 13 and extended in a fore-and-aft direction, in the closed cross-section structure portion 17. Therefore, a load inputted from a front wheel 3 to the front surface wall 71 can be transmitted and scattered to the front end 13a of the horizontal surface portion 13 behind the inclined surface portion 14 through the plate member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
