PURPOSE:To efficiently make a waste photographic solution with high salt concn. harmless by performing decomposition treatment due to ozone and ultraviolet rays after biological oxidizing treatment using a biota containing marine bacteria. CONSTITUTION:In order to treat a waste photographic solution, a treatment process due to ozone and ultraviolet rays is performed after a biological oxidizing treatment process using a biota containing marine bacteria. Thereafter, an iron ion is insolubilized at pH 5 or more to be removed and, thereafter, biological oxidizing treatment is performed. By this method, the waste photographic processing solution containing both of a biodegradable material and a material inferior to biodegradability such as a chelating agent inclusive of EDTA can be stably and economically treated with high treatment efficiency without generating harmful gas or tar. |
