The horseshoe has a horizontal layer (12) with a lower face (14) contacting ground and an upper face (16) fixed to a hoof (18) of a horse via a nail (20). The layer is extended with respect to a circumference (22) of the hoof, and comprises a spring (24) drowned in an elastomer material (25), where the layer and the spring are elastically deformable in compression. The spring has an upper blade (26) and a lower blade (28) connected with each other. A rigid horizontal metal layer is fixed below the lower face, and the spring is made of metallic material e.g. spring steel.
