摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion treatment process of an environment-hostile material to be treated, by which the treatment efficiency can be improved through reduction in dust scattered from a fusion treatment furnace and also the formation of dioxins can be inhibited and further, the fusion point of fused slag can be lowered. SOLUTION: This treatment process for subjecting sludge 2 discharged from a sewage treatment facility 8, together with ash 3 which is discharged from a waste incineration treatment furnace 9 and consists of waste incineration ash 4 discharged from a main body of the waste incineration treatment furnace 9 and fly ash 5 recovered from a flue of the waste incineration treatment furnace 9, to fusion treatment, more specifically, involves: screening the waste incineration ash 4 to classify it into scattered particles 4a having smaller particle size and unscattered particles 4b having larger particle size; mixing the scattered particles 4a and the fly ash 5 with the sludge 2 to obtain a mixture; forming the mixture into formed bodies 6; and charging the unscattered particles 4b and the formed bodies 6 together into a fusion treatment furnace 15.
