PAPER CONTAINER FOR PACKAGING, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container wherein even if the body thereof is closed with a cover, no gap is formed between the peripheries of both flanges, thereby providing a good external appearance and hence commercial value can be improved. SOLUTION: The paper container 1 for packaging comprises a body portion 2 wherein a rising lower side wall portion 4 is connected to the periphery of a lower bottom portion 3 and a lower side flange portion 5 is connected to the upper end of the portion 4, a cover portion 7 wherein a falling upper side wall portion 9 is connected to the periphery of an upper bottom portion 8 and an upper side flange portion 10 opposed to the flange portion 5 is connected to the lower end of the wall portion 9, and a hinge portion 12 wherein the flange portion 5 is partially connected to the flange portion 10 in a foldable manner. In the container 1, the lower side flange portion 5 is opened upwards, and the upper side flange portion 10 is opened downwards, while the body portion 2 is closed with the cover portion 7. Under such conditions, the periphery of the flange portion 5 is brought into contact with that of the flange portion 10.
