<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which uses a power circuit having no high-frequency superposing function and yet generates less-coherent laser light and emits light having improved color rendering property, to provide a lighting apparatus, and to provide a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device has: a semiconductor laser element which includes at least a substrate, a first conductivity type clad layer, an active layer, a second conductivity type clad layer in this order; and a phosphor which absorbs laser light emitted by the semiconductor laser element and radiates fluorescence, the semiconductor laser element being a self-excited laser element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
