Device for measuring the temperature of a heating device (13) comprises a longitudinal sensor (20) made from ferromagnetic material running along the active region of the heating device connected to an evaluation unit (24) which is structured in such a way that the Curie temperature of the sensor is acquired by measuring an electrical property of the sensor, especially the inductance or electrical resistance. An independent claim is also included for a process for measuring the temperature of a heating device using the above device.
