PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element holder for reducing positional deviation in an optical scanning direction caused by heat of an optical element. SOLUTION: The optical element holder holds a correcting lens 22 having a longitudinal direction C in the optical scanning direction. The optical element holding body is equipped with a holding frame 23 that has a side face 23c provided with a prescribed distance apart from the end 22c in the longitudinal direction C of the correcting lens 22 and that holds the lens so as to cover it except at least a light incident part and a light exiting part, and energizing units 26, 27, 28 that fix the correcting lens 22 to the holding frame 23 by pressing the lens 22 thereto.
