<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, compact, and high-performance fuel cell separator that is required for enhancing the output density, enables stacking without the use of a gas-sealing member, and allows elimination of insulation processing of the stack outer periphery, a cell unit for a fuel cell, and to provide their manufacturing methods. <P>SOLUTION: By a processing method of forming a thermoplastic resin composition filled high with a carbonaceous material into a thin sheet form, heating the sheet to a molten state, and cold-shaping the melt at a high speed, a light-weight, compact, high-performance, and thin fuel cell separator, having a corrugated flow path, can be provided. The separator for a fuel cell wherein the separator for a fuel cell has an outer peripheral part where a laminate of the separator and the MEA can be integrated, and is covered with an insulating thermoplastic resin composition.
