<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming device capable of moving a sheet loading part to a proper sheet loading position securely when opening an opening and closing cover. <P>SOLUTION: A movable end of the sheet loading part 202 moved to the sheet loading position by opening the opening and closing cover 101 is engaged with an engaging part 109 provided in a body 1A of the image forming device to regulate travel of the sheet loading part 202 in the direction of width. When the sheet loading part 202 is moved to a storage position by closing the opening and closing cover 101, the engagement of the movable end of the sheet loading part 202 with the engaging part 109 is released. When the engagement with the engaging part 109 is released by closing the opening and closing cover 101, travel of the sheet loading part 202 in the direction of width is regulated by a regulation part 211 provided in the vicinity of an opening and closing shaft 101a of the opening and closing cover 101 on the upstream side in the direction of sheet feeding of the movable end of the sheet loading part 202. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
