PRESENTATION ASSISTING DEVICE, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate information associated with past presentations and to present to a presenter an index indicating how much a page being presented at present should be explained based upon the accumulated information.

SOLUTION: A presentation assisting device includes a recording unit (6) where materials used in the past presentations and participant information on the past presentations are recorded; a generator (4) which generates difference information when a new material is generated by reusing the materials; a calculating unit (7) which calculates the explanation extent index indicating how much the new material should be explained to current participants to which the new material is to be presented based upon the difference information and participant information; and a display unit (2) for the presenter which displays the explanation extent index to the presenter of the new material.
