<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side airbag device capable of widely ensuring an inflatable/deployable space of an airbag and quickly and certainly performing its inflation/deployment in the side airbag device for inflating/deploying the airbag between an occupant sitting on a seat and a vehicle side wall. <P>SOLUTION: In the side airbag device 20, a first airbag 22 provided on a seat back 11 of the seat 10 arranged in a cabin is inflated/deployed between the occupant P sitting on the seat 10 and the side wall part 16, and a second airbag 24 inflated/deployed when the first airbag 22 is inflated/deployed is provided at a position deviated to an in-vehicular side than the first airbag 22 in the seat back 11.
