PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability, high-visibility reachable range display device for superimposedly displaying the range on a map image that can be reached within a prescribed time. SOLUTION: The reachable range display device displays a range that can be reached within a prescribed time from a reference point on a map on a map image. The reachable range display device has a search section, an image generation section, an image processing section, and an image superimposing section. The search section searches for optimum path, from a reference point to a plurality of arbitrary points on an arbitrary map image, to calculate the required time. The image-generating section generates a first image, capable of distinguishing a group of points that can be reached from a group of points that cannot be reached within a prescribed time searched by the search section. The image processing section generates a second image, showing the range that can be reached from the reference point within a prescribed range, from the first image generated by the image generation section.
