PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that gives high contrast without using a special binder and suppress coating defects when used for fast application in a large amount. SOLUTION: The composition for forming a color pattern contains (A) a pigment, (B) a dispersion resin having an acid value of 20 to 300 mg/g and a weight average molecular weight of 3,000 to 100,000, (C) a photopolymerizable compound, (D) a photopolymerization initiator, and (E) an organic solvent, and satisfies the following condition. That is, a film of 2μm film thickness is formed by applying the above composition on a glass substrate and drying, the glass substrate is tilted by 45°angle, a main organic solvent constituting the composition is used as a test liquid and continuously dropped as droplets in a volume of 0.1 ml prepared by the method specified in JISK5600-6-1 9.3.1 onto the same position of the film surface at one second interval, and this results in dissolution of the film surface within 5 droplets.
