<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the production efficiency of a β-glyco-disaccharide by dissolving cellobiose as a source of glucose 1-phosphate, a monosaccharide as a glucosyl group receptor and a microorganism in a phosphate buffer solution and treating the solution with cellobiose phosphorylase. <P>SOLUTION: A β-glyco-disaccharide can be produced with more improved efficiency than with conventional efficiency by combining the supply of phosphoric acid with a highly safe phosphate buffer solution and the removal of glucose with a commercially available yeast, thereby shifting the reaction equilibrium to the synthesis side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
