This conveyance-container storage facility utilizes a portable display terminal which, when a worker enters a storage area to perform a retrieval operation by way of a manual operation, instead of an automatic storage/retrieval operation using a storage/retrieval device, illustrates and displays, in container units and in a visually recognizable manner, the current storage positions of all containers in the storage area, to enable the retrieval operation to be performed accurately and efficiently by way of the manual operation. When a search for a container to be retrieved by a manual operation is performed, a container image (C8x) indicating the container to be retrieved, among each of a plurality of container images (Cx) in a current storage state-displaying 3D image (20) displayed on the screen of the portable terminal, is changed to a display state so as to be visually identifiable from the other container images (Cx). |
