A position information distribution server A, which is placed outside a core network, comprises a communication unit A20 that receives the identification information and position information of cellular phones from base stations, switching centers, VLRs or HLR. The position information distribution server A further comprises a recording unit A10 that records a first table T1 including information used for determining, for the identification information of each cellular phone, a respective one of position information provision servers B to which the position information is to be transmitted. The position information provision servers B are servers that provide position information services for transmitting, to information terminals, the position information sent from the position information distribution server A. The communication unit A20, when having received the identification information and position information of any cellular phone, transmits the identification information and position information of the cellular phone to one of the position information provision servers B that is indicated in the first table T1. |
