<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition capable of lowering serum LDL cholesterol level, and to provide the oral composition which is capable of lowering the serum LDL cholesterol level without affecting serum HDL cholesterol level and is prepared using an orally ingestible material which is harmless in long-term use. <P>SOLUTION: An extract from willow tree bark and/or bud is compounded with the oral composition.
