<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in display quality, when displaying an image in a template where a prescribed number of individual display areas determined in advance are set, inside an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: User images Gu, the template Tp, where the prescribed number of individual display areas Ri determined in advance are set, and sample images Gs are input in an image-assigning part 40. The image-assigning part 40 assigns the user images Gu and the sample images Gs to the individual display areas Ri so that the user images Gu are displayed in the individual display area Ri one by one, and either the user image Gu or the sample image Gs is displayed in all the individual display areas Ri in the template Tp.
