Certain embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a stretch removable adhesive tape comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane film having a unique combination of properties leading to a unique stretch removal profile.

1. A tape comprising:
a. a first adhesive layer forming a first outer major surface of the tape; b. a second adhesive layer forming a second outer major surface of the tape; c. a core disposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, wherein the core comprises a thermoplastic film having at least two of the following properties:
i. an elongation at break of at least about 400%;ii. a tensile strength of at least about 50 MPa;iii. a recovery of at least about 30%; andiv. a thickness of no greater than about 0.3 mm. d. wherein the adhesive tape is stretch releasable without breaking.
