PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode unit capable of preventing a conductive material from corroding and discharging a gas generated in an electrode material to the outside, and a battery including the electrode unit.SOLUTION: An electrode unit 5 of a cell 1 of a battery comprises: a sheet 53; a conductive material 51 arranged on a surface of the sheet 53; a coating film 52 covering a surface of the conductive material 51; an electrode material 50 containing an active material and an acid electrolytic solution and provided inside a peripheral part of a surface of the coating film 52; a sealant 54 forming a frame shape having an edge, stuck to the peripheral part and the sheet 53, and sealing the conductive material 51 by the sheet 53 and the coating film 52; an ion-exchange membrane 7 covering the surfaces of the electrode materials 50 and 60 and stuck to a part of the edge; and a gas permeable film 9 in which one end part is stuck to the other part of the edge and the other end part is stuck to the ion-exchange membrane 7. An electrode unit 6 of the same cell comprises: a sheet 63; a conductive material 61 arranged on a surface of the sheet 63; a coating film 62 covering a surface of the conductive material 61; an electrode material 60 containing an active material and an acid electrolytic solution and provided inside a peripheral part of a surface of the coating film 62; a sealant 64 forming a frame shape having an edge, stuck to the peripheral part and the sheet 63, and sealing the conductive material 61 by the sheet 63 and the coating film 62; an ion-exchange membrane 7 covering the surfaces of the electrode materials 50 and 60 and stuck to a part of the edge; and a gas permeable film 9 in which one end part is stuck to the other part of the edge and the other end part is stuck to the ion-exchange membrane 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
