PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film stretching apparatus capable of manufacturing a high quality stretched film by heating and stretching a thermoplastic resin film, and to provide a manufacturing method of a stretched film.SOLUTION: A film stretching apparatus includes at least two rotary rollers and non-contact heating means. A film is heated by the non-contact heating means and stretched by a tension due to a peripheral speed difference between the rotary rollers. Second width detection means is provided which measures the width of a part of the film on the downstream side of the non-contact heating means in the flow direction of the film. The output of the non-contact heating means is controlled based on information on the width shrinkage of the width of the downstream side part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
