A plenoptic camera (2) comprises a camera lens (20), also called main lens, a microlens array (22) and a photosensor array (24). An additional lens (21) is arranged between the camera lens and the microlens array. The focal length of the additional lens is set to be equal to a value corresponding to the distance between the camera lens and the additional lens.
