<p>PURPOSE:To provide an assembly method for an automobile which simplifies a work to mount a windshield and assembles a bonnet, side doors, and front fenders to a body shell with an excellent balance. CONSTITUTION:After side doors, a bonnet 10, and front fenders 14 are removed from a body shell, outfits are dependently mounted on a body shell B and at least the side doors, a windshield 72 is then mounted on the body shell. Thereafter, the bonnet 10 and the front fenders 14 are positioned and assembled to the body shell. Besides, after the bonnet 10 is assembled, the right and left front fenders 14 are assembled based on at least the bonnet 10. Further, the side doors are assembled togetherwith the bonnet 10 and the right and left front fenders 14 are then assembled while a gap between the side door and the front fender 14 and a gap between the bonnet 10 and the front fender 14 are regulated.</p> |
