MANUFACTURE OF PISTON FOR FLUID MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture of a piston for a fluid machine which maintains a slide gap between a cylinder bore and a piston with constantly high precision and prevents creep deformation of a piston ring even when a piston is used under a severe condition. CONSTITUTION:Knurling processing is applied on the bottom of an annular ring groove 21 formed in the outer peripheral surface of a piston body 20. A piston ring 30 made of resin having a slide part 31 having size higher than that of the piston body 20 is fused to the knurled ring groove 21.
