<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of malfunction such as a crack of a collecting member, and reduce the demand for heating at the time of reconditioning, and simplify the structure. CONSTITUTION:A filter 5 for collecting the particulate in the exhaust is divided into multiple units 15, and a heater 17 for burning the collected particulate for elimination is provided in each unit 15. A shielding member 23 for hindering the flow-in of the exhaust to one unit 15 is provided in the exhaust flow-in side of the filter 5 freely to be moved on the surface of the filter 5. At the time of reconditioning the filter 5, the heater 17 of one unit 15 to be reconditioned is electrified for heating, and simultaneously, this unit 15 is shielded by the shielding member 23 to hinder the flow-in of the exhaust. This reconditioning operation is performed in order per each unit 15.</p> |
