<p>A dynamoelectric machine in the preferred form of a permanent magnet motor (1) has an integral blade assembly (3) associated with the rotor (8) for the motor (1). The motor (1) includes an enclosure (4) with which the blade assembly (3) mates. The blade structure/housing combination provides a labyrinth moving seal (100) to protect the motor (1) and associated motor control. The blade assembly (3) and enclosure (4) preferably are constructed from nonconductive material and provide a fully electrically insulated motor-fan assembly, which eliminates the need for certain grounding requirements. Blade construction is optimized easily to reduce audible sound in operation use. <IMAGE></p> |
