PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having high transparency and excellent weather resistance, water resistance and stain resistance while maintaining adhesivity by making the composition include a water-dispersible particle composed of a vinyl polymer crosslinked with a specific polysiloxane. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a water-dispersible particle composed of a vinyl polymer crosslinked with a polysiloxane containing 15-55 wt.% of a phenyl group at a polysiloxane part. The water-dispersible particle is produced by subjecting a mixture of (B) a vinyl-based monomer containing a silyl group of the formula (R is a monofunctional group selected from a 1-10C alkyl, aryl and aralkyl; X is a halogen, an alkoxy, OH, an acyloxy, phenoxy or the like; c is 0-2) and (C) another copolymerizable vinyl-based monomer to a radical emulsion polymerization in (A) an aqueous dispersion of a phenyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane compound and during or after the polymerization, subjecting the siloxane to redistribution reaction in an acidic state.
