PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, with which an image having high lustrous properties can be formed, at the same time, a high image quality image with uniform density can be formed by reducing a load change through the reduction of a printing torque. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording material, printing is performed with a thermal head and a heat sensitive recording layer and a protective layer is provided in the order named on a support, a thermally soft film layer, the hardness of which is lower than that of the protective layer at the printing, is provided on the surface at the heat sensitive recording layer side of the protective layer. |
