PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and simply prevent paper jamming to a cutter by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A shredder 10 is provided with a cutter section 12 and a recipient section 14 for receiving waste cut out by the cutter section 12. The cutter section 12 is provided with a charging port 16 of an object to be treated and a cutter 18 for cutting the object to be treated charged from the charging port 16. The cutter 18 is installed at a position where a rotary circle drawn by the cutter 18 is nearest to a front of the shredder 10 and the waste is dropped at a nearest side to a front part 14C of the recipient section 14. The charging port 16 is obliquely arranged and every object to be treated with thickness less than a prescribed thickness is sent to the cutter 18 from a lower receiving surface of the charging port 16.
