It is possible to nondestructively analyze a position or a corrosion state of a magnetic member existing inside a non-magnetic material structure. A magnetic member is magnetized from outside of the structure and the magnetic flux density is measured outside of the structure so as to identify the magnetic material position or analyze the corrosion state of the magnetic material. The magnetization of the magnetic material is performed by two steps: the magnetic flux density is measured by the first step of magnetization so as to identify the magnetic material position and after this, an alternating field is applied to demagnetize the magnetic material. At a position opposing to the identified magnetic material position, the second stage of magnetization is performed and then, the magnetic flux density is measured to analyze the corrosion state of the magnetic material.
|
