<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control program and a unit, enabling stable operation with secured safety against information leakage. <P>SOLUTION: From a print data required for printing, a keyword specified in advance is extracted by a keyword extractor 103, and a document type set to the above keyword is discriminated by a document type discriminator 106. The extracted keyword and the document type are set into attribute information of the above print data by a print controller 105, and by using the keyword and the document type, control conditions of the possibility or impossibility of printing and the necessity to preserve the print data are retrieved. By print control based on the above control conditions, the print data is transferred to an output controller 108, and the generation of the data to be preserved is instructed to a preservation data generator 107, so as to be stored into a memory 104.
