摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the entire system, in a motor drive control system which includes a converter being constituted to variably control DC voltage and an inverter for converting the output voltage of the converter into DC voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The voltage command of the converter is set by the execution of steps (S100 to S140) of deciding the potential voltage of system voltage VH being the output voltage of the converter, within the voltage range from indispensable minimum voltage VHmin corresponding to the induced voltage of motor generators MG1 and MG2 to the maximum output voltage VHmax of the converter, steps (S150 to S165) of computing the sum total of estimated power loss in the entire system by estimating the power loss in a battery, the converter, the inverter, and the motor generator in each potential voltage, and steps (S170 to S190) of setting a voltage command VH#, based on the potential voltage where the sum total of the estimated power loss becomes minimum out of the above potential voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
