The parquet unit has a support plate (2) i.e. multilayer-glued multiplex-plate, connected with a rectangular utility plate (1), where the rectangular utility plate overlaps the support plate in sections. The support plate exhibits interlinking recesses (7) along a side with respect to the utility plate and outward-protruding interlinking projections (4) along an opposite side with respect to the utility plate. The utility plate is connected with the support plate by epoxy resin. The support plate has multiple layers that are transversely-glued. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a parquet floor from multiple parquet units.
