PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a disk recording medium with respect to a technical field for a disk holding mechanism and a disk changer. SOLUTION: The disk holding mechanism is provided with; an insertion shaft section 66 which is inserted in a central hole 100a of a disk recording medium 100 from a thickness direction; a plurality of disk holding arms 71, 71, 71 which are movably supported by the insertion shaft in a predetermined direction, enabled to project to the outside from a circumference surface of the insertion shaft, and contact to one face in the thickness direction of the disk recording medium; and disk presser objects 76, 76, 76 which in a state wherein the plurality of disk holding arms touch a face of one side in the thickness direction of the disk recording medium, hold the disk recording medium by gripping it together with a plurality of disk holding arms in contact with a face of another side in the thickness direction of the disk recording medium.
