The sealing profile (6) has a closed hollow cross-section (13) and at least one inlay strip of insulating coating forming material, whereby the closed hollow cross-section contains a profile section (18-20) that can be deflected when the seal is engaged. The at least one inlay strip is accommodated inside the hollow cross-section and is arranged there so that it does not inhibit the deflection of the profile section when the seal is engaged.
