<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mark display device of element type font which can suppress increase in the font data capacity and will not cause blurred characters to be produced in a rasterized data of a prescribed size or smaller of the character. <P>SOLUTION: The mark display device 100 comprises a font database 31 for storing an element list 311 which causes the elements of predetermined total constitutional numbers to correspond to mark identification information for identifying marks and a shape list 312 which causes contour information defining element contour that are associated with the element identification information of the element; and a rasterized data plotting means 29a, which produces the contour by using the contour information and plots the rasterized data, according to the sizes of the mark from the contour, wherein the font database 31 causes the elements of the number, fewer than the total constitutional numbers, to be associated with the mark of the prescribed size or smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
