<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided engaging element for a slide fastener with improved flexibility against bending. <P>SOLUTION: In the double-sided engaging element 12 for the slide fastener, a center swelling part 74 swells from an engagement base surface 70, and a pair of left and right projecting parts 72 are formed to swell from the engagement base surface 70 to project from a body part 78 toward the center swelling part 74. The center swelling part 74 in the engaging element to be engaged is detachably engaged in a recess surrounded by the center swelling part 74, the left and right projecting parts 72 and a stepped face 82. The size TO between inner swelling starting end edges of the left and right projecting parts 72 is set smaller than the size RO between the left and right swelling starting end edges of the center swelling part 74, and a first lacking part 88 is formed on the outer corner of the end of the left or right projecting part 72 on the side facing the center swelling part 74. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
