PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of acquiring a resolution transformed image with high image quality, even when an input image is already subjected to magnification processing is input. SOLUTION: In an image processing program 200, a determination portion 204 estimates the magnification method and the magnification ratio for an input image. Specifically, the determination portion 204 determines whether a nearest neighbor method is applied to the input image, and estimates the magnification ratio if the input image is a magnified image by the nearest neighbor method. A first decimation pixel determination portion 206 generates a decimation table showing a column and a row to be decimated. A second decimation pixel determination portion 208 corrects the decimation table. A shrink portion 210 shrinks an input image to the size of the original image determined based on the processed results by the determination portion 204. Specifically, the shrink portion 210 reduces pixels of the input image based on the decimation table to generate a shrunk image.
