摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a wavelength division multiplex optical device to be produced extremely simply and inexpensively; its manufacturing method; and a mold used for the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the wavelength division multiplex optical device having an optical fiber and a wavelength selective filter in combination at an optical waveguide, an optical waveguide core, the optical fiber, and the wavelength selective filter are bonded directly with a cured core material. Such a wavelength division multiplex optical device is manufactured utilizing soft lithography by: forming an optical waveguide core groove, an optical fiber fixed groove, and a wavelength selective filter inserting groove in a lower clad layer; inserting the optical fiber and the wavelength selective filter to respective grooves; forming an optical waveguide core; and directly bonding the optical waveguide core, the optical fiber and the wavelength selective filter with a cured core material. A mold used for such a manufacturing method comprises projecting parts respectively corresponding to the optical waveguide core, the optical fiber fixing groove, and the wavelength selective filter inserting groove.
