PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift device, simply structured, which can easily be downsized.SOLUTION: A shift device 1 comprises a ball portion 11 provided integrally at one end part of a shift lever 10 and a recessed portion 31, provided in a base member 30, which holds slidably the ball portion 11. A circuit board 70 is arranged in a storage portion 33 having a storage opening portion 32 formed on one surface of the base member 30. The storage opening portion 32 opens in a direction different from a direction in which the recessed portion 31 opens.
